The brief

An AOSP-based communication platform in a high-security environment needed senior Android engineering support. Alongside product development, build and CI/CD workflows were a focus for improvement.

What we delivered

• Worked with the team as a senior Android developer on the communication platform.
• Improved Gradle build workflows.
• Improved the CI/CD pipeline while working within the constraints of a high-security engineering environment.

The result

Reduced Gradle build times by around 50% and total CI/CD pipeline time by around 60% in this project’s development environment, shortening the wait for build and pipeline feedback.
